2.30: All about integrations, permissions, and ease of use (VIDEO)

With 2.30, you can group and organize forms and datasets however you wish; more easily connect SurveyCTO data to external systems, including Salesforce, Gmail, Office 365, Twilio, and many, many others; take advantage of more web-based data export options and Stata templates, even for encrypted data; and access a new “Enterprise” version of SurveyCTO that makes it easier to share a single subscription across country offices or teams.

The Data Explorer is here!

We are beyond excited to share the new Data Explorer exclusively with SurveyCTO users. Not only that, it’s FREE and INCLUDED with every subscription tier… at least for now. The Data Explorer enables you to view encrypted data in the browser with your own 2048-bit encryption keys, visualize data in an integrated system that detects the data types of their fields and how they should be labeled, and catch data-quality issues from the first day of data-collection.

Announcing our free Community edition

Today I’m thrilled to announce Dobility’s launch of a free “Community” edition of SurveyCTO. This free edition is designed to enable smaller non-profits, researchers, students, and other small-scale users to collect better data in the field. In tandem with our new online form designer, it will enable new users to easily get started with digital data collection, regardless of their budget or technical skill set. We hope that it will deepen our social impact and expand global support for best practices in data collection.

v1.40 out, with freedom to revise and publish at will

The theme of our v1.40 release is freedom, because our development focus was on the removal of limitations. There’s nothing too flashy or sexy about it – we’re leaving that for our 2.0 release (which is already in development) – but we expect that the greater freedoms in v1.40 will lead to significant, potentially-dramatic quality-of-life improvements for many of our users…
